The Position:

Account Manager will be responsible for developing/ closing business within Financial Services and Consumer Authentication space in UK and Ireland. The Account Manager will have a proven track record in the IT security environment and Finance Vertical market.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Generate business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closing.

  • Build a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and forecast pipeline accuracy.
  • Define regional sales strategy being able to generate new business
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Handle and develop new businesses independently
  • Ensure leads and opportunities are tracked within Sales Force.com (SFDC)
  • Implement Gap Plans and Strategic Initiatives in SFDC

 

What we are looking for:

Education and/or Experience          

  • BS/BA, or equivalent education plus relevant industry experience
  • Financial Service Vertical sales experience with an actionable preferred rolodex of decision makers in Bank & Finance in UK and Ireland
  • Experience working with direct end users as well as partners and understanding of both direct and channel centric go to market approach. Need to have direct touch experience
  • 7+ years sales experience in closing deals in the Financial Service area for IT vendors, IT Sec sales experience and/or experience in the Authentication market or HID products is a plus.
  • Experience in selling Digital Banking solutions
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proven ability to sell to large and international organizations.
  • Passion for sales and winning new business.
  • Self-motivated and well organized.
  • Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills.

Key Skills    

  • Ability to fluently communicate in the English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively target a wide variety of audiences including senior leadership and customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Experience with CRM, such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to create presentation materials to deliver messaging on new corporate initiatives and services.
