HID Global’s Extended Access Technologies business area (EAT) is building out a new Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) team that is driving the EAT Lean-Agile business transformation and optimization including the implementation of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This new role, Business Change Manager, will lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives and business enabler epics, with a focus on business efficiency and scalability within the business area, and provide coaching for the EAT business cultural adoption of DevOps.


This dynamic role will report directly to the Senior Manager and has a wide-ranging global area of responsibility and influence for business transformation, business change and continuous improvement across all teams and functions in the business area.


The successful Business Change Manager will coach and train cross-functional teams and facilitate the EAT business implementation roadmap of deployment and refinement of SAFe while delivering maximum customer value in everything that they do.


The role requires reasonable levels of personal flexibility to support the needs of the global business working with geographically distributed teams and includes variable frequency of international travel.

What you will be doing

  • Business transformation, business change and continuous improvement management
  • Best practice process and workflow deployment and management with an initial emphasis on Product Management, Pre-Sales and Technical Support to achieve efficiency and scalability
  • Ambassador and champion for change, including business preparations for future change, acting as a key point of contact for stakeholder engagement
  • Delivery and facilitation of training, coaching and mentoring to cross-functional teams and individuals remotely and in person
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) implementation roadmap deployment, coaching, training and consultancy
  • Efficiency auditing of operational Agile Release Trains (ARTs) for compliance to SAFe and product development programs to the Product Innovation Process
  • Systematic issue root cause analysis and corrective action recommendation
  • Maintenance of dashboards, documentation, wiki and management information reporting

What we are looking for    

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Management, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and applicable hands-on experience (required)
  • Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC), Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Leading SAFe certified (highly desirable)
  • Formal Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APMP or PMI PMP (preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black belt (preferred)
  • A dynamic and positive person
  • Experience of managing business transformation, change management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Project or program management experience in both an Agile and Waterfall environment
  • Experience of Lean innovation, Lean-Agile project management in an Agile Program Management Office
  • Experience of Product Owner and/or Scrum Master roles in previous organizations (preferred)
  • Experience of SPC and/or RTE roles in previous organizations (preferred)
  • Experience with using collaborative software and tools such as Atlassian Confluence and JIRA, and Microsoft Teams
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Effective management of multiple concurrent projects / initiatives
  • Delivery and facilitation of training, coaching and mentoring
  • Track history of delivering results
