In order to bring Extended Access Technologies (EAT) RFID products and services into the next era we are looking for an innovative just-do-it Product Marketing Manager with a superb understanding of the markets, knowledge about competitive intelligence as well as the messaging towards technical orientated target segments. Those markets are in the traditional Physical Access Control arena as well as for all other markets where our EAT RFID Business Unit products can become a reasonable player.

Our product portfolio addresses Integrators with embedded products as well as our desktop readers provide ideal solutions for the desktop and you contribute to the definition of these target markets.

For your and the market success of our products & services it is key to collaborate with various stakeholders to identify the need behind the need and to provide successful competitive solutions.


What you will be doing

You are in charge to create EAT RFID product strategies and to educate and evangelize all internal and external stakeholders on the basis of excellent communication material for our products.

Therefore you must communicate and collaborate effectively across all hierarchy levels within the own business units, the entire company as well as with customers and technology partners.

  • Create product strategies and support the development along with the implementation of products/services on the basis of well prepared business cases, which justify the effort and anticipate product profitability
  • Understand the competitive landscape and how to deal with frenemies in the marketplace, their products, pricing and sales strategies which results in effective countermeasures
  • Prepare positioning and specification input for datasheets, whitepapers and other collateral for completion by Marcom to support the external product lifecycle
  • Work closely with MarCom to generate product launch plans, contributing towards the content and messages for product marketing collateral  
  • Assist with tracking, analysing and interpreting product profitability
  • Ensure Sales teams are effectively skilled and knowledgeable about product value proposition, features, benefits and commercials through close working relationships and training as required
  • Run Voice of the Customer with End Users and Integrators to identify unresolved End User issues, and drive EAT RFID roadmap to address these unresolved End User pain points.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including executive briefings, analyst briefings, industry events, webcasts, and trade shows.
  • Contribute to acquisitions by actively being involved in the identification of M&A partners.

  • Translate sophisticated and complex technical features via real-life scenarios and use cases, into clear, compelling, and memorable stories of end customer value
  • Proven track record in developing successful go-to-market solutions and launch strategies


Who you are

  • University degree in economics with focus on product marketing of technical goods
  • Technical university degree with demonstrated experience in Product Marketing or -Management
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Product Marketing, especially in the electronics, semiconductor or RFID industry desired
  • A MBA is not necessary but would be helpful when creating product and service strategies
  • Bilingual e.g. Chinese, Spanish, French, German are of advantage
